Reason #2: Their parents

Okay, okay, I already know what you're thinking. I'm being an asshole for calling out parents as a reason why I hate children. Well fuck you because A. this is my blog, and B. hear me out first. I know plenty of kick ass parents that say things like "Sure, there are some days where I wanna punch my kid in the face, but I can't", and are just chill with the whole parenting thing. But I know a lot more parents who decide to have a kid and then SHOVE THAT SHIT DOWN EVERYONE'S FUCKING THROAT. Seriously. Just stop.

This post is obviously coming from a place of rage within me. And that's for a few reasons.

Reasons like Mommy Jacking. Just because you have a little shithead for a child and can't do things like taking a nap in the middle of the day, or staying up late to go out with friends, or go on a shopping spree, or go on a luxurious vacation doesn't mean that I can't enjoy those things. I should be able to enjoy my fucking life without you pointing out that you soooo wish you could go on vacation, "but I can't because I have kids." So?! Dump those fuckers off at your parents house for the week and do some shit you can't normally do! Grandparents are all about spoiling their grandchildren! And if your parents won't take them? Well they suck and they're shitty fucking grandparents. Get a nanny or a friend or some shit. Anyway, my point here is that I'm so over being CONSTANTLY Mommy Jacked just because I made the choice to not have kids and have an actual fucking life. And let's be honest here, if you really loved being a parent that much then you wouldn't always be complaining about your LACK of a life.

My next reason is the actual inspiration for this post. I'm just perusing my NewsFeed and see that one of my Facebook friends posted a comment on American Airlines page concerning breastfeeding on their flights. Apparently, from what I briefly read, a passenger was breast feeding on a flight and a flight attendant asked her to cover up. Now, maybe I'm wrong, call me naive, whatever, but I was under the impression that it was the norm for a breastfeeding woman to cover up or have some type of modesty shirt thingy so as to not be flashing her goods to the world. Obviously this woman wasn't using anything like this, so the flight attendant said something. Now, American Airlines page is BLOWING UP with angry customers saying how breastfeeding is natural and that the company should be ashamed of itself and FUCK YOU, I'M NOT FLYING AMERICAN EVER AGAIN BECAUSE YOU'RE A DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. Um, excuse me? As a non-parent, I find it completely offensive to think that your breastfeeding in PUBLIC should just be accepted by everyone. Yes, it's a natural thing, and yes, if I ever decide to birth a demon spawn I'll attempt to do so myself, but IN THE PRIVACY OF MY OWN HOME. And if I'm not in my home? I'll either have some pumped breast milk on hand, or I'll be kind to my fellow human beings who don't want to see my grossly swollen mammary balloons in my newborn's mouth and cover up. And don't give me that shit about "Well how would you feel being told to eat with a blanket over your head?" Because my response to you will be, "If I had a tit on my face I would gladly eat with a blanket over my head because I'd understand that not everyone is comfortable with my tit staring at them." I shit you not, THIS PICTURE was posted on American Airlines page:

Sorry Amber, but I FIND THIS SHIT OFFENSIVE. Get your tit off my fucking Facebook. Once it's okay for me to go topless on a flight then you can tit-feed your child.

These proud-to-be parents are part of the reason why kids suck. Are your children the only joy that you have in life? Because I can't imagine that. I still want to retain my individuality as a person if I ever have kids. I don't want to become just "So-and-so's Mom". That's a shitty life in my humble opinion. Sure, parenthood might be fucking great for all I know, but I'm sure I'll still enjoy date nights with the boy, crazy, wild sex, dinner and drinks with friends, and being 150% irresponsible every now and then. Parenthood is not and will never be the end-all, be-all event of my lifetime. And maybe that makes me an asshole in your opinion, but that's fine, you're entitled to that.

Just like I'm entitled to think that you're a fucking asshole with no life.  :)
